Snatch production day 1 storyboard
Today we done our character storyboard for our individual character. This consisted of a list of the shot types, a story board of what was going to happen in the scene and a drawing off our freeze frame.
Snatch character costume
In this lesson we had to create a character using costumes which we will have to bring in. I used a picture of my head and got the rest of the images of google as i have items similar/the same to this. I picked a chavvy kind of outfit as in our opening sequence we will all be kind of chavvy. rebellious teens.

Snatch Production day 1
We
were introduced to the opening sequence of 'Snatch'. We needed to watch
it to see how the links were made from character to character and how it flows together as we
were going to be making one of our own. Seeing this sequence helped me
think about what I could do in our sequence we were going to make. After watching the video we each made up
our own link that could be in a sequence. After drawing out the link we
got into groups and discussed how each of our links could roll into one
another. We then had to make up a name for ourselves because we were
going to be featuring in the sequence as the characters. We were given a
sheet that we could plan the sequence on. This would help make the
build up easier as we would see it all written down. Over all it was a really productive session, we made up our names, decided how it was going to link, and decided the genre and what was basically going to happen in our sequence

trapped day 4
We started filming today in the woods but we didnt have the right props
so we had to start from the middle of the film where I wake up
after passing out on alcohol, we were all really motivated and
got a lot of good shots, but the weather was so cold we came in and Abbi and I
started to edit the film, in editing we got the film up on final cut and
photoshop, cut the parts of the film where it went wrong, edited the
colour and put the music onto the film. Me and Abbi had already done our opening sequence, which just me and her done previously when Richard and Sam were making the script, which was very helpful as now we had filmed a good amount of the film
trapped day 3
Today Steve and Abbi and I went to go light painting in the woods because we thought it
would be a good idea to do it where the filming is taken place,As it would tie in with the film better. But
after a few tries of the light painting the light paintings were too over exposed. We knew that we had to go to a completely Dark room with minimum light in it so the writing would come out clear.
trapped day 2
after a few attempts of light painting it became easier, we moved to the hall as it was darker there, so the light painting looked a lot better. Everyone in my group worked really well on this, and Abbi put a lot of effort in so we had a good last go of light painting. After Abbi uploaded the
photo's onto flicker we worked together in editing it. We opened photoshop and edited the contrast,
colour and size of the image to give a final multi-coloured image.
trapped day 1
Abbi had an idea for the opening sequence in our short film is to use light
painting the word "Trapped" we both researched how to do this on google and on youtube. We used the light from Abbis lighter using a Nikon
digital camera. We changed the shutter speed of the camera so that the words in lighting would come up. The first time we tried to do the light painting didn't
go very well because the room was too light so this was the out-come
of the first attempt, for a first attempt i think we done pretty well, as i did the camera, i found this quite difficult as we had to change all the settings and press the camera at the exact right time.
